house rules

safety & security

Loud noise/music, parties, or gatherings of more than the home occupancy limit is strictly prohibited.

Please respect the privacy and property lines of neighbors – as they are mostly local – by staying on our section of the lawn and beach, and do not use their docks under any circumstances.

Rinse off any sand and dry completely before re-entering the home after a day of play.

Boats, rafts, dinghies, and the like cannot be tied to the dock as it will cause damage. You must use alternative mooring equipment or anchor them onto the beach instead.

Keep garage door closed at all times so you don’t attract unwanted guests.

Do not unplug or disconnect any of the TV, Eero, Spectrum, or gas furnace cables, wires, or plugs

Do not engage in illegal activities anywhere on the property.

If you break or damage something, please let us know.

Although we try to schedule maintenance and repairs between guests, contractors may occasionally arrive, and they have their own lockbox for basement access and will notify you of their arrival/departure.

We have partnered with Minut to monitor occupancy, noise, and smoking in the home. Tampering with the device alerts us immediately.

This is a smoke-free home, including the outside decks and surrounding property – this includes cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, THC products, and the like.

There is a fire extinguisher located in pantry next to the kitchen.

Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detectors are located throughout the home.

These are battery powered and wired into the home so they may activate if there is a power outage.

EXTRA BATTERIES: Although we change the batteries before the due time period, we have extra batteries in the laundry room drawers.
