There are three small square “eero” devices placed around the home to ensure every room has a strong WiFi signal. Do not unplug or otherwise remove any of these devices.

• The main hub is in the Den behind the TV
• Second router is in the Laundry room
• Third router is in the Office upstairs

Please let us know immediately if you have any interruption or issues with your internet service.

Our home is provided with two Smart TV’s – one each located in the den and upstairs bunk room.

Sign-in and stream Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, Prime and many other free channels.

HDMI ports are available on each TV if you would like to plug into your own devices.

Our home has central heat and air conditioning

Thermostat:
Located on 1st floor of home on the hallway wall next to the kitchen. There is another thermostat in the hallway leading to the bedrooms, however, it does not control the temperature setting of the HVAC system – it only functions as a temperature sensor.

Please:
Leave fan on auto position at all times.
Do not change system settings cool/heat/auto.
Keep all windows / doors closed whilst the A/C or Heat is running.

You can make adjustments to suit your comfort level by pushing the up and down arrows.

Cooking in the home: Please turn on “hood exhaust fan” during and after cooking. Also refrain from cooking anything that could leave a strong odor behind. Open windows to air out if necessary. Thank you for helping us to keep our home smelling clean for all of our guests.

The Dishwasher: We ask that you just load and start the dishwasher before you depart. If you are here for a long stay, it’s very simple, we promise! We provide pods – you will need to put one pod into the flip box container on the inside of the dishwasher door. Then press the program button of your choice – there are a few settings which are obvious – then press the start button.

The fridge/freezer: You should not need to adjust any settings. If you run into any difficulties (e.g. it’s not cooling efficiently) please let us know.

A grill is provided for you on the outside deck.

• Open lid before turning on gas
• Turn valve counter clockwise on gas tank located under grill
• Turn knobs to on position and push start button to ignite burner
• You may need to use the lighter which is provided in kitchen drawer
• When finished grilling please use brush to clean off grill top
• Turn all knobs to OFF position
• Turn valve clockwise on gas tank located under grill
• Close lid

Important: A dirty grill or leftover food outside can attract unwanted critters.

Note: spare gas tank is located in the garage. If you need help installing or if there is not any gas left in either tank please notify us.

Please do not leave the doors open while A/C or Heat is running. Thank you.

We have a washer and separate dryer located in the utility room next to the kitchen. There is a supply of detergent for your use. Detailed instructions are provided.

Washer:

• Press power button, open door, load washer
• Close door
• Add detergent
• Select appropriate cycle
• Press Start/Pause button
• Wash indicator will illuminate
• Cycle time will appear in display
• Before it starts to fill it will make clicking noises to check door lock
• When cycle is complete it will ring chimes

Dryer:

• Load dryer loosely (Do Not Overload)
• Close the door
• Select appropriate cycle
• Press Start/Pause button
• Dyer indicator light will illuminate and estimated time cycle will appear
• When cycle complete, “End” will appear in display
• Do not place anything on top of dryer when running

Steam iron and ironing board are located in the closet behind the door in the same room.

Cleaning Supplies: Vacuum, Swiffer Mop, and cleaning spray are located in the closet and cabinets in the laundry room.

We know how important sleep can be, especially if you are not in your own bed and on holiday or a business trip. The design, comfort, and amenities for the bedrooms were of utmost importance.

Bedding: Your bed should include a sheet set, duvet comforter, four pillows, and a throw blanket.

• All covers and sheets are washed after every use.
• Spare pillows are located in the individual closets.
• Extra blankets and two set of sheets are located in the hallway closet.

Bathrooms: Each bathroom comes with 2 bath towels for each guest, 1 hand towel each, and 1 makeup towel.
We also provide refillable hand soap by the sink, shampoo, bodywash, and conditioner located on the walls of each shower.

• All towels are changed after each stay.
• Additional towels are located in the linen closets of each downstairs bathroom.
